This design (detail) is inspired by a film poster of the Universum-Film Aktiengesellschaft (Ufa, Germany) from the year 1926. The original poster design is archived as physical item and online available under Metropolis by Werner Graul.
Years ago I had the pleasure to work with this historical material to create a print product.
